Adidas Originals- BW Army Mid (GSG 9 Trainers)
Determined not to repeat the tragedy during the 1972 Summer Olympics Games in Munich, where a botched rescue attempt resulted in the death of all hostages, Israeli Olympic athletes kidnapped by Palestinian terrorists. West German officials established the GSG 9 (Grenzschutzgruppe 9), an elite counter-terrorism unit of the German Federal Police.
As supplemental equipment to their arduous training regiment, Adidas created the BW Army Mid, sneakers that integrated elements of the combat boots, such as padded interior linings, the absence of perforation or vents, and the lack of branding. Yet still retained sneakers comfortability with flexible rubber outsole and premium leather
